Notes It was built for the Luftwaffe and opened in 1936. It was originally designated B117 by the RAF. Between 1945 and 1951 it was used as a camp for displaced persons and in 1951 was extended by the RAF, opening in early 1952. It was transferred back to the German Air Force in 1961 |
