HQ No 218 Group Personnel, locations and units

This Group was originally formed on 1 October 1942 at Habbaniya as No 218 (Maintenance) Group to control Nos 110, 115, 118, 119, 127, 134 and 138 Maintenance Units.  It moved to Shaibah on 15 November 1942 but disbanded  on 17 April 1943.

It reformed on 30 November 1943 at Lazerges in Algiers from the RAF element of North-West African Air Service Command.
