Multinational Commands held by RAF Air Officers
This was formed on 1 November 1948 as the RAF Element of the Combined HQ of the Western Europe Commanders-in-Chief, at Dover House, Whitehall, London, eventually moving to Cour Henrie Quatre, Fontainebleu, France. Initially the HQ (Unit) was administered by No 28 Group but on the Group's disbandment it was transferred to No 61 Group, Reserve Command on 6 March 1950.
