19 Jul 1940 Squadron moved to Cerne Abbas
30 Jul 1940 Squadron moved Temple Ewell, near Dover
30 Jul 1940 Squadron disbanded with its personnel used to form a new No 961 Squadron.
 6 Sep 1940

It was re-established as a 'Rover' Squadron at Weybridge

15 Sep 1940 Relieved by No 954 Squadron and presumably disbanded
