 8 Nov 1944 No 358 Squadron was formed at RAF Kolar, with 60% of the personnel being thrown up by the disbandment of No 1673 HCU.
 9 Nov 1944 4 x new Liberator VIs arrived from No 352 MU

18 Nov 1944 A Detachment of No 23 APC arrived to conduct a training course with the squadron
29 Nov 1944 A Harvard (FS796?) was delivered for use a communications aircraft

13 Dec 1944 A reconnaissance party proceeded to RAF Digri pending the squadron's move to that station
16 Dec 1944 The reconnaissance party returned from RAF Digri
21 Dec 1944 Advance party departed RAF Kolar for RAF Digri
