HQ No 300 Group Personnel, locations and units

This was formed at Camden, New South Wales, Australia on 24 Apr 1945 by renaming No 300 Wing to control RAF transport units in Australia

In January 1946 it moved to 6 Tivoli Place, South Yarra, Melbourne and on 4 January an Advance Party left Essendon, arriving at Leyte on 5 January and Kowloon on 6 January. 

On 31 March 1946 it reverted to the title No.300 (Transport) Wing, with the Rear HQ at  Camden disbanding on 17 April and a Forward Rear Party moved to 426 George Street, Sydney on 21 June, closing on 7 November 1946.
