It moved to the Palace of Industry in Wembley on 28 June 1939 and was redesignated 'A' MU Sub-unit under the control of 'B' MU on 1 July 1939.  It was transferred to No 55 Wing on 1 August 1942 and was redesignated No 212 MU on 1 December 1943.
