  • Base Station - RAF Bottesford
    • No 1668 HCU
    • No 1321 (Bomber) Defence Training Flight
  • Sub-station - RAF Langar
    • No 1669 HCU

 1 Nov 1944 No 1321 (B) DTF was disbanded, each HCU being allocated 2 x Spitfires and 2 x Hurricanes

No 7 Group Communication Flight wsa transferred from RAF Spittlegate to RAF Bottesford

 7 Nov 1944 No 3 ACS at RAF Gamston began supplying Pupil Aircrew to the HCUs in No 72 Base

No 5 ACS at RAF Swinderby ceased supplying Pupil Aircrew to the HCUs in No 72 Base

15 Nov 1944 Ragdale and Wardley Bombing Ranges were transferred from No 93 Group to No 72 Base
25 Nov 1944 No 1669 HCU commenced re-equipment with Lancasters
27 Nov 1944 Ground administration of Wardley Bombing Range was transferred to RAF North Luffenham
