  1. Particulars of the assembly and dispersal dates and the allocation of vacancies on courses to be held at the School of Land/Air Warfare during the period April, 1957 to March, 1958, are given at the Appendix to this order. Further details of the courses and joining instructions are contained in A.M.O. A.269/55, as amended.

  2. Officers for the NATO and G.L.Os. courses should report at the School by 1200 hours on the day of assembly. Officers attending the senior officers study periods should report by 1900 hours on the day of assembly.

  3. Special transport support/offensive support courses for non-NATO personnel are not shown on the programme but should sufficient nominations be received one such course will be held during October, 1957.

SCHOOL OF LAND/AIR WARFARE - PROGRAMME OF COURSES - APRIL, 1958, TO MARCH, 1959

  1. 1. Particulars of the assembly and dispersal dates and the allocation of vacancies for courses to be held at the School of Land/Air Warfare during the period April, 1958, to March, 1959, are given at the Appendix to this order.
    2. The Charter for the School is given in AMO A250/57 and full details of the courses with joining instructions are given in AMO A251/57.
    3. Nominations for the allocated vacancies are to be forwarded to the School of Land/Air Warfare, copy to the Air Ministry (TO4), at least three weeks before the commencement of courses. RAF nominations are to be forwarded as before to the Air Ministry [P (Pol)3c]. Every attempt is to be made to fill the allocated vacancies but should this prove impossible the Air Ministry (TO4) is to be notified so that the vacancies can be offered to other formations.
