He entered the RAF College in Apr 1955 and was a member of 72 Entry, 'A' Sqn and achieved the rank of Senior Flight Cadet.

He was commissioned on 1 Apr 1958 in the rank of Pilot Officer which was gazetted on 6 May 1958.

He was killed on 25 Jun 1958 whilst flying in Canberra PR Mk 3, WE143 of No 231 OCU, which crashed on landing at Bassingbourn during his first solo asymmetric landing.  He is buried in Gilroes Cemetery, Leicester.

He was killed on 29 Jan 1969 whilst flying in Jet Provost T Mk 3, XM360 of the Central Flying School which flew into Brown Clee Hill at Arbon in Shropshire after entering a fog bank at low level.  He was cremated at Cheltenham Municipal Crematorium.

He was killed on 11 Sep 1959 whilst flying in Valiant B Mk 1, XD869 of No 214 Sqn, which flew into the ground shortly after taking off from Marham at night on a flight to Nairobi, probably due to problem with the Tail Plane Incidence.  He is buried in Marham Cemetery.

Alan GARSIDE (607838)

He entered the RAF College in Jan 1956 and was a member of 74 Entry, 'B' Sqn and achieved the rank of Under Officer.  He also represented the College at Rugby.

He was commissioned on 16 Dec 1958 in the rank of Pilot Officer which was gazetted on 3 Feb 1959.

He was killed on 18 Jul 1963 whilst flying in Lightning F Mk 1A, XM186 of No 111 Sqn, which he abandoned in a spin near Wittering during an aerobatic display, but he did not survive.  He is buried in St Catherine's Churchyard, Ringshall, Stowmarket.

Michael John GIBBONS (607836)

He entered the RAF College in Jan 1956 and was a member of 74 Entry, 'C' Sqn and achieved the rank of Senior Flight Cadet.

He was commissioned on 16 Dec 1958 in the rank of Pilot Officer which was gazetted on 3 Feb 1959. He retired on 5 Sep 1993 in the rank of Sqn Ldr.

Anthony Murdoch GOODMAN (607822)

He was commissioned on 16 Dec 1958 in the rank of Pilot Officer which was gazetted on 3 Feb 1959. He retired on 14 Oct 1997 in the rank of Sqn Ldr.

Flavian Noel HENNESSY (607832)

He entered the RAF College in Jan 1956 and was a member of 74 Entry, 'C' Sqn and achieved the rank of Under Officer.  He also represented the College at Hockey.

He was commissioned on 16 Dec 1958 in the rank of Pilot Officer which was gazetted on 3 Feb 1959.

He was killed on 11 Jul 1961 whilst flying in Hunter FGA Mk 9, XG134 of No 208 Sqn, which flew into the ground at Mutla Ridge in Kuwait whilst attempting to recover from a dive.  He is buried in the Kuwait Oil Company Cemetery.

Brian JOHNSTON (607826)

He was commissioned on 16 Dec 1958 in the rank of Pilot Officer which was gazetted on 3 Feb 1959. He retired on 1 Aug 1989 in the rank of Flt Lt.

Robert Alexander JOHNSTON (607839)

He resigned his commission on 20 Jun 1964 in the rank of Flt Lt.  He died before 2006.

He was re-instated to the active list on 28 Jan 1981 reverting to the retired list on 1 Dec 1987

John Donald MALLOCH (607814)

He entered the RAF College in Jan 1956 and was a member of 74 Entry, 'B' Sqn and achieved the rank of Senior Flight Cadet.  He also represented the College at Rowing.

He was commissioned on 16 Dec 1958 in the rank of Pilot Officer which was gazetted on 3 Feb 1959. He retired on medical grounds on 27 Nov 1978 in the rank of Sqn Ldr.

He was commissioned into the Equipment Branch and died before 2006.

David Martin NICHOLLS (4177230)

He entered the RAF College in Jan 1956 and was a member of 74 Entry, 'A' Sqn and achieved the rank of Senior Flight Cadet.

He was commissioned on 16 Dec 1958 in the rank of Pilot Officer which was gazetted on 3 Feb 1959.

He was killed on 12 Sep 1961 whilst flying in Hunter F Mk 6, XE583 of No 19 Sqn, which rolled and dived into the ground south west of Skydstrup in Denmark.  He is buried in St Catherine's Churchyard, Leconfield.

John Sebastian PILGRIM MORRIS (607737)
