Recommendation for the award of Officer, Order of the British Empire
"SAMSON, Bryan, W/C (34249)
This officer is Deputy Director of Repair and Maintenance (Aircraft). Repair work which was done during the war by firms within the Civilian Repair Organization had had to be transferred to parent firms in the aircraft industry and Group Captain [sic] Samson has handled this transfer with great tact and diplomacy. He has shown himself to be a good organizer with excellent technical qualifications which have enabled him to guide his officers most successfully in their duties."
