During 1916, he was introduced to G. Constantinesco, who had developed a synchronising system for aircraft guns. As a result the C.C. gear was further developed and adopted as standard on British aircraft. After the war he worked as the Sales Director of Vickers (Aviation) Ltd and in 1930 was the Personal Assistant to the Chairman.
