Deputy Director of Operations.
Together with Flt Sgt Scott, he restored Sopwith Triplane N5912 for the 1936 Hendon Pegeant and following further refurbishment, it was placed in the RAF Museum in 1972, where it remains today. In 1938 he bought himself a Bristol Fighter (registered G-AFHJ ex F4587), however, it was destroyed by enemy action during WWII.
