- January - December 1936
This section covers RAF personnel killed between 1 January
and 31 December 1936. The information has been gleaned from a variety of sources
including the Commonwealth War Graves registers, Air Force Lists, Flight
magazine and a variety of other publications and books. Entries in italics
indicated that exact confirmation of these details have not yet been confirmed.

height during a loop. His passenger, AC1 Harold Eric Smith-Langridge was
also killed as was LAC Percy Cuthbert, who was in the hanger at the time.
Another airman in the hanger, LAC Stanley Arthur Rollason King was severely
injured and died the following day in the Memorial Hospital, Peterborough. |

Reconnaissance) Flight, H.M.S. London. He suffered an engine failure
on take off but having insufficent speed he stalled and crashed into the
sea, the aircraft bursting into flames. His observer, Lt. John Bridgewater
Kitcat, RN was not injured. |

killed in the accident. He is buried in Pieta Military Cemetery. |

in the Royal Air Force General Hospital at Hinaidi. He is buried in
Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery. |

Regiment weer dangerously injured and Fg Off Norman de Warrenne Boult
(pilot) and Capt. Duncan Scott Cochrane, R.A.M.C were seriously injured
whilst LAC Thomas Sellars and Lt. Thomas Leslie Gwyther Charles, Essex
Regiment were injured. |

Capt. Thomas Brodie, Cheshire Regiment weer dangerously injured and Fg Off
Norman de Warrenne Boult (pilot) and Capt. Duncan Scott Cochrane, R.A.M.C
were seriously injured whilst LAC Thomas Sellars and Lt. Thomas Leslie
Gwyther Charles, Essex Regiment were injured. |

having possibly unfastened his harness and was killed. |

injured. |
