"MORRIS, Arnold, F/L (53394, Royal Air Force) - No.36 Staging Post, Transport Command
Flight Lieutenant Morris held the appointment of Engineering Officer at Allahabad for 18 months. Despite illness, he continued with his work with great tenacity of purpose and devotion to duty. The flow of aircraft at the staging post increased by almost 100 percent and involved many engine changes on unfamiliar types. Eventually, Flight Lieutenant Morris’ complete physical collapse caused the medical officer to have him repatriated. His devotion to duty upheld the morale of his severely-tested men in very trying times."
