 1 Dec 1943 No 595 Squadron was formed from Nos 1606, 1607 and 1609 (AAC) Flights at RAF Aberporth, organised as follows: -
  • 'A' Flight - to provide co-operation with 1st HAA PC and ZAAE Battery
  • 'B' Flight - to provide co-operation with 13th LAA PC, Aberyason
  • 'C' Flight - detached to RF Carew Cheriton to provide co-operation with School of AA, Manobier and No 61 AA Brigade

It was equipped with Henleys and Martinets
