including the Commonwealth War Graves registers, Air Force Lists, Flight
magazine and a variety of other publications and books. Entries in italics

on take off and Lea turned back to the airfield, but stalled the aircraft
and crashed. Sqn Ldr Collett was knocked unconscious and died in the
subsequent fire. |

heavy landing, causing the undercarriage to break, the aircraft veered off

days later. His crew member, LAC L D Tite was only slightly injured. He is
buried in Malta (Capuccini) Naval Cemetery. |
