Citation for the award of Commander of the Order of the British Empire
"WEEDON, Colin Winterbotham, A/Cdre - Ministry of Aircraft Production.
This officer has held the post of Director of Repair and Maintenance since May 1941, having been previously Deputy Director (Engines). He is an able and energetic officer with great enthusiasm for his work and during his successful direction of the Repair Organization the output has increased by about two-thirds."
