PORTER, Cedric Ernest Victor, A/A/V/M (Royal Air Force) - No.22 Group Headquarters, Technical Training Command.

"This officer commands the group and has shown fine powers as an organiser.  The group is responsible for all recruit and RAF Regiment training; a complete reorganisation of recruit training was recently carried our and Air Vice-Marshal Porter was responsible for putting the new syllabus into operation.  He has done much to raise the general standard of training and administration throughout the group."
