"GORE, Charles William, W/C (11074, Royal Air Force) - No.33 Maintenance Unit. 

As Commanding Officer of aircraft storage units since before the war, Wing Commander Gore has shown great zeal and tenacity of purpose which, combined with his tact and resource have greatly contributed to produce the best results from available facilities.  He has at all times maintained a high rate of efficiency in the unit under his command. "

Later awarded OBE as a Group Captain.
