This was a modified Rolls-Royce mounted onto a more modern Fordson chassis

Two Humber light reconnaissance cars of No. 2806 Armoured Car Squadron RAF Regiment, acting as a forward observation post close to the Wilhelmina Canal near Eindhoven, Holland. The vehicle was used the Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel to assess the condition of airfields following an air attack.  The Rarden gun would be used to break open the cases of unexploded bombs and then tracer from the machine gun would be used to set the contents on fire.
